GoGoA1 also introduced new brands under its umbrella, such as GoRento and Kimi Motors, to enhance its mission of promotion of sustainable development.
The company plans to raise $1 million USD in an upcoming Pre-Series A funding round to expand its presence in the electric mobility market. GoGoA1 aims to meet the growing demand for EV retrofitting services while supporting India’s goal of having 70% of transport as electric. The conversion kits offer features like universal compatibility, long battery life, and easy installation, providing an avenue for users to convert traditional petrol and diesel vehicles into electric models. Through these efforts, GoGoA1 strives to reduce carbon emissions and gain recognition for its sustainable innovations.
The global auto industry is shifting focus towards electric vehicles
(EVs) to reduce emissions, although most vehicles still use fossil fuels. There is a need to convert existing internal combustion engine (IC) vehicles to electric. GoGoA1 launched India’s first RTO-approved EV conversion kit for two-wheelers, priced at Rs 35,000 plus GST of Rs 6,300, and it comes with a 3-year warranty, excluding the battery. The total cost, including a battery for a range of 151 km, reaches Rs 95,000. Customers can order online, and deliveries will be made to local installation centres across 36 RTOs. The kit includes essential components and features a 2.8kWh battery and 2kW electric motor, allowing a modified Hero Splendour to reach 80 km/h and a range of 151 km on a full charge.

Priced at ₹39,990, it is promoted as the most affordable commuting vehicle with a focus on low running costs and no pollution.
